These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by Harvest Roaring Fork, LLC (“we,” “our,” “us”), including Boards & Baskets, in-home chef services, event catering, menu creation, and any related offerings. By booking or receiving services, the client (“you,” “your”) agrees to these Terms.
Harvest Roaring Fork® is a federally registered trademark (Reg. No. 7,783,246) and may not be used without the express written permission of Harvest Roaring Fork, LLC.
1. Business Location & Jurisdiction
Harvest Roaring Fork operates in Basalt, Colorado, USA.
All services, payments, disputes, and interpretations of these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, with jurisdiction in Pitkin County / Eagle County courts as applicable.

2. Payment & Deposit Requirements
A 25% non-refundable deposit of the estimated total is required for all catering and private chef services to be considered confirmed.
In certain cases, full payment up front may be required.
Final payment must be completed before or on the day of service unless otherwise specified in writing.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations must be submitted via email at least 14 days prior to the scheduled event.
The 25% deposit is always non-refundable, regardless of cancellation date.
Cancellations made within 14 days of the event require full payment of the remaining balance.
Any non-refundable items already procured by Harvest Roaring Fork on your behalf—including but not limited to rentals, perishables, compostables, or specialty goods—must be reimbursed in full by the client.
Harvest Roaring Fork is not responsible for refunding third-party vendors; you are responsible for any separate cancellation fees they may enforce.
4. Additional Fees
Travel: Roundtrip travel from the Harvest Roaring Fork kitchen to the event location is included in the proposal unless otherwise noted.
Gratuity: A 20% gratuity may be added for all on-site service staff (chefs, servers, bartenders, etc.). When not automatically applied, gratuity is at the client’s discretion.
Rental Returns:
All rentals supplied by Harvest Roaring Fork must be cleaned and returned within 48 hours.
Damaged, missing, or improperly cleaned items will incur a minimum $100 fee.
If Harvest Roaring Fork coordinates third-party rentals, the client is responsible for timely and undamaged returns.
5. Liability, Allergies & Dietary Restrictions
Clients must disclose all allergies and dietary restrictions in writing, preferably within the event communication/chat thread.
Harvest Roaring Fork is not liable for reactions or health issues caused by undisclosed allergies.
If the client provides any ingredients, Harvest Roaring Fork will assume they were properly stored and handled.
Harvest Roaring Fork is not responsible for food-borne illnesses resulting from client-provided ingredients.
Harvest Roaring Fork follows standard safe-food practices but cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
6. Service Scope & Menu Availability
Menu pricing varies by season, availability of ingredients, event size, and location.
A custom proposal will be created for each event outlining pricing and scope.
Clients must provide all alcohol for events; Harvest Roaring Fork does not supply or sell alcohol.
7. Intellectual Property & Media Use
All photos, videos, and creative assets produced by Harvest Roaring Fork, including images captured at events, remain the property of Harvest Roaring Fork.
Clients must obtain written permission to use Harvest Roaring Fork images or branding.
Harvest Roaring Fork may use photographs of dishes or event setups for marketing purposes, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
8. Client Responsibilities
For In-Home or On-Site Services
Clients must provide:
A clean, safe, and functional kitchen/work environment
Properly working kitchen appliances
Notice at least 7 days in advance if any equipment is malfunctioning
Adequate parking for loading/unloading
For Drop-Off or Pickup Services
Once food is delivered or picked up, the client assumes responsibility for maintaining safe temperatures, storage, and handling.
Harvest Roaring Fork is not responsible for food safety after transfer of possession.
9. Limitation of Liability
Harvest Roaring Fork is not responsible for:
Damages caused by client negligence
Food mishandling after pickup or delivery
Issues related to alcohol consumption
Third-party rental errors or damages
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Harvest Roaring Fork’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.
10. Changes to Terms
Harvest Roaring Fork may update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
